• Silent in Sedona: A Day of Silence

A guided day of meditation, silence, and time on the land

  • Offered Seasonally

2026 Offerings: Feb 3, May 5, Oct 7. Book your spot

    An Invitation

This one-day experience offers a spacious pause — an opportunity to step out of the noise of daily life and into a quieter relationship with yourself and the natural world.

Held in silence and guided gently throughout the day, this experience centers meditation as the primary practice. The pace is unhurried. The structure is simple. Time is given for stillness, walking, reflection, and rest.

This is not a workshop or an intensive. It is a day devoted to listening.

    The Container

This experience is held as a container for meditation rather than a collection of activities.

In many wellness experiences, meditation is offered briefly — as a moment within something larger. Here, meditation is the ground everything rests on. Silence, time, and presence are given space to deepen, supported by nature and gentle guidance.

The emphasis is on listening rather than doing, allowing calm, emotional flow, and inner steadiness to emerge naturally.

    How the Day Unfolds

The day is lightly structured and unfolds slowly. Silence is observed throughout, beginning in the morning and held until the closing circle.

You’ll be guided through a rhythm of:

    • Seated meditation
    • Walking meditation in nature
    • Quiet time for reflection or journaling
    • Rest and unstructured time
    • Gentle guidance offered as support, not instruction

Participants are welcome to move at their own pace. There is no expectation to sit still for long periods, and no prior experience with silent retreats is required.

    Who Is This For

    This experience is well-suited for:

    • Those seeking a deeper, quieter meditation experience
    • People navigating transition, reflection, or integration
    • Anyone longing for nervous-system settling and spaciousness
    • Those curious about silence but unsure about multi-day retreats

You do not need to be an experienced meditator. You DO need to be willing to slow down.

    A Note on Silence

Silence is held gently and with care. Guidance is offered at intervals to support the container and help orient the day.

Silence is not about forcing stillness or “doing it right.” It is simply an invitation to listen more closely — inwardly and outwardly.

Relationship to the Silent in Sedona Retreat

This Day of Silence is a complete experience in itself.

For those drawn to extended silence and deeper immersion, it is also offered as part of the Silent in Sedona multi-day retreat, where the container is held over several days.

This experience is also available as a private offering for individuals or small groups who would like to enter a day of silence together.

The container and pacing remain the same — spacious, grounded, and gently guided — with added flexibility around scheduling and group needs.
