    A Guided Silent Meditation Retreat

  • An Invitation into Silence

Silent in Sedona is a guided meditation retreat for those who feel called to step out of noise and listen — deeply — to themselves, to nature, and to what is quietly asking to be heard.

Held in the red rock landscape of Sedona, this retreat offers a rare opportunity to slow down, disengage from constant input, and experience the clarity and spaciousness that can emerge when silence is intentionally held.

This is not an escape from life. It is a return to what matters.

    Why Silence?

Silence is not the absence of sound — it is the absence of distraction.

When we step away from conversation, devices, news, and the continual pull of the outer world, the nervous system begins to settle. Attention naturally turns inward. What often surprises people is how supportive and nourishing silence can feel when it is entered intentionally and held with care.

This retreat offers a gentle but meaningful entry into silent practice, supported by guided meditation, time in nature, and a small, attentive group. Many participants describe leaving with:

    • Greater clarity
    • A renewed sense of inner steadiness
    • And a felt connection to themselves that lingers long after the retreat ends

    The Container

In many wellness experiences, meditation is offered briefly — as a moment within something larger — an ad-on activity.

In Silent in Sedona, meditation is the container itself. Time, silence, and presence are given space to unfold, supported by nature and gentle guidance. The pace is slower, the structure is simple, and the emphasis is on listening — inwardly, emotionally, and intuitively — rather than doing or achieving.

This retreat is designed to support nervous-system settling, emotional flow, and a deep sense of inner steadiness, allowing clarity to arise naturally.

Throughout the retreat we observe Noble Silence — refraining from speaking, texting, reading, or engaging with external media.

Silence begins Friday evening after dinner and is held through Saturday, allowing the mind and nervous system to unwind gradually. On Sunday morning, silence is gently broken and time is devoted to reflection, integration, and shared insight.

Phones and devices are put away during the silent portion of the retreat. Participants are encouraged to share an emergency contact number with loved ones prior to arrival.

Silence is not forced. It is supported.

    The Rhythm of the Retreat

Each day follows a simple, spacious rhythm designed to support both structure and rest.

    • Mornings include gentle movement, meditation, and guided teachings
    • Afternoons offer unstructured time for reflection, journaling, rest, or quiet time in nature
    • Evenings return to guided meditation and simple ritual

Meals are shared in silence as an extension of the practice, inviting mindful presence and deep nourishment.

There is nothing to perform, fix, or achieve. The invitation is simply to be present.
