When the rain falls in the desert you can hear the sighs of delight. Not just from the parched humans, but from the plants, the birds, even the red rocks. Everyone revels in the joy that the rain brings.
To be out in the rain as it is gently falling is another level of delight! The sun baked red rocks in Sedona suddenly become shrouded in mist as the cool water vaporizes. And the smells! Oh my goodness - nothing smells like rain on the desert.
In this week's Sedona Meditation Adventure, I share with you a gentle summer monsoon rainstorm. I was out by Oak Creek and Cathedral Rock as the rain began to fall. It is the perfect opportunity to practice a little meditation and to celebrate the elements.
Join me for a little meditation time today. And if you are coming to Sedona, let's meditate together in person!
