The Golden Hour

Episode 86 of our Sedona Meditation Adventures Series

· guided meditation,healing meditation

There is a veil between our world and the spiritual. There are places, like Sedona, where that veil is thin. It allows for the energy of spiritual world to more easily flow into our world. This is one explanation for why Sedona is such a spiritual place. It is easier to tap into that etheric, spiritual energy.

There are also time when the veil is thin. The in-between times. Equinoxes, solstices, full moons. Traditional times to tune and work with that spiritual energy.

Sunrise and sunset are also thin times. These are the traditional times to meditate. The energy is more supportive of tapping into your inner landscape. Of course it's not the only time to meditate. Any time is a good time. But those in-between times provide a little extra oomph for your meditation.

These times are called the golden hour. Sunrise and sunset - when the sun's light comes in from along the horizon. We see the longer wavelengths of color - reds and oranges - giving the world a warm, honey glow.

It's magical. And few places are as magical during the golden hour as Sedona. Those warm, soft hues make the red rocks glow as if they are controled by a rheostat and it's turned to its lowest setting with the softest light.

I love to be outdoors at this time and especially love meditating. Join me in today's video for a golden hour Sedona meditation adventure.
